My favorite bagel option on the Upper West Side. Great bagels (including the elusive pumpernickel), tofu cream cheese options. A reliably good bagel.

This was my neighborhood bagel shop for years, but having tried all the best regarded places in nyc (Absolute, H&H, Murray's, Best), Lenny's is #1. Dense and chewy, the egg and whole wheat were always unparalleled. Especially first thing in the morning when fresh and hour (don't toast them!) . The service is nyc ie gruff until they know you then you're like family. Note this has no relation to the Lenny's sandwich shop chain. Make the trip uptown and you'll get it.

Bagels were warm and perfect. Nice alternative since H&H no longer around.

I'm a cappuccinos lover. The one I was served was a regular cafe. When I complain he offered extra form, n charged me for a cappuccino.the nerve.

Definitely wasn't cheap for a sandwich, but pretty good. They had a lot of options, for sure. I opted for the Jimmy T, which was a chicken cutlet with melted mozzarella cheese, grilled onion, sweet peppers and honey mustard. Mmmmm. Quite good. They had a full selection of yogurt muffins, which sounded like a must check out breakfast option. It wasn't until ordering that I saw their "Steam Table" options. Fresh oven roasted turkey, Meat loaf, Fresh corned beef brisket, Grilled chicken breast, Herb chicken, or Grilled salmon... mmmmm. And possibility to have mac as a side. Will be back to give that a go for sure.
