The Art Gallery at Lehman College is a space designed by Marcel Breuer and is a true gem for showcasing art work. Not only is the space gifted with vaulted ceilings, ample natural light and airy chambers, the curatorial team is equally adept with uncanny ability in putting together exhibitions that capture the zeitgeist of trends that are ABOUT to explode in the larger contemporary art world scene. From what we can tell, those in the know--KNOW about how special this gallery is--those who do not are pleasantly shocked to discover a wonderful surprise in the Bronx.
