I love this place! Every detail is carefully thought out and the food is truly delicious. I particularly love the omelettes and quiches; my husband rates the crepes very highly. My kids love the toasties, hot chocolates and sweet treats. The staff are always kind and courteous.

I had a delicious salad. I was with a group of 12 people and we ordered croissants, crepes, etc. and all were good. This was the most accommodating restaurant I've been in after 30 years of being on a restricted diet. There was sugar in the dressing so they offered to make me one without sugar. The chicken had butter so they sauted some for me in olive oil.

Today, in advance of bringing a dessert to a wine tasting, we purchased three pastries - the lemon tart was good, but certainly not great.....the chocolate black forest? was good, but the cherries tasted like a maraschino out of a jar....the other vanilla cake with cream chantilly was the best.....at $6 per, we feel this patisserie is overpriced and over rated....can't comparre with sook in ridgewood....sorry

We go there often to hang out for an hour and people-watch in Montclair's small town center. The service staff are very friendly. The food is good to great. Last week I had a new salad on their menu with dijon mustard dressing and goat cheese - really delicious. Their patisserie is noteworthy too.
