I very highly recommend Linda Rosa from Laughing Dog Training. Linda trained, boarded and walked our two highly active and excitable boxers, Rocky and Ruby. (Ruby is still with us.)
I found Linda to be extremely knowledgeable --she has worked with dogs for over 20 years!--, engaging and passionate about her work. The key thing about Linda was that she taught me and my children how to work with Rocky and Ruby so they would be responsible, loving members of our family. She is my "go to" person for my dog related needs for almost 18 years. (Ruby, at 9, is still a frequent guest at her boarding facility.) It is not unusual for a fellow elevator rider or neighbor to remark on Ruby's good behavior. I owe this to Linda and her highly effective training methods.
