AVOID THIS DOCTOR AND GET YOURSELF A SECOND OPINION!!!

1) Go see any other doctor about your condition and get your treatment somewhere else!

2) Search Stephen Goldstone's name in the NY ECourts records and see that he has been sued for medical malpractice, multiple times!! Including a death....

Do your due diligence before moving forward with treatment from this practitioner or his practice!

Any positive reviews about this Goldstone are probably fake and promoting his bogus practice.

I ECHO the previous review that Stephen Goldstone is not qualified to practice medicine or perform surgery and has a poor reputation in the medical community. He is horrible and should not be trusted with your health!

Additional comments about him include: major motivation about $$$, he is VERY arrogant, RUDE and will tell you what he wants you to hear so that he can charge your insurance and be done with you.

He does not care about gay men or the gay community and markets himself as a gay doctor so that he can make $$. He cares about money money money money money.

That is why he went into this "niche" practice because he's a horrible surgeon that wouldn't be hired anywhere else, and isn't even qualified as a colon or rectal specialist.

I lost trust in doctors because of this man. He is a horrible person and has caused me and several other past patients and families much pain and harm.

Do what you want, see him, let him treat you, whatever.

But my opionion is RUN...

Dr. Goldstone is NYC's premier expert in the care of abnormal anal pap smears. He stepped into this niche when no other surgeon wanted to do so. He is kind and considerate and highly recommended.

Stephen E. Goldstone is NOT a board certified Colorectal Surgeon. He is a GENERAL surgeon performing colorectal care. I made the mistake of not getting a second opinion and am now suffering from it - over 14 months after my surgery with this quack. (Yes, quack.) Dr. Goldstone's skill is poor, at best. Though his knowledge may be accurate, his skill with the laser is TERRIBLE. My current physician says that Dr. Goldstone is like a bull in a china shop - treating my condition as if he were going after a mouse with a nuclear weapon. I did NOT need the extension surgery that I had. Additionally, another friend of mine, 2.5 years after his surgery with Dr. Goldstone, is still not back to normal. My rectum and anus may never be the same as a result of his botched surgery. GET A SECOND OPINION - though I highly recommend you DO NOT visit this doctor.
