I was sad that the old Qingdao closed. Rather, its original owners left the place, and the new management was terrible: attempting to take on the mantel of the old Qingdao place, but making major alterations to the menu.
Thank goodness that this place opened! The owners are from Harbin, as Dongbei (northeast) as you can get in China without being in Russia. they are super friendly, but you'll want to have a friend with you who speaks some Chinese for the full experience.
Dishes are generously portioned, in the $8-15 range generally.
