Went in for an appointment for the first time and I give the receptionist my insurance card. She looks at it and says "Oh we don't take this insurance anymore". I told her on the website says he is part of my plan. She proceeds to tell me "this plan requires referrals". I told her it doesn't as my insurance card clearly states "NO Referral Required" and either way he was set as my PCP. She goes on to explain that "despite what your card says it really does require referrals and we are in the process of dropping that insurance."
The woman who apparently is also the office manager was completely rude, obnoxious, and oblivious. For someone who is supposed to be a good doctor you sure have a horrible staff. Here's a tip: hire a staff that isn't incompetent.
