The lakeside has always been a recreational haven for the "Flatbush" Side of prospect park resident. The revamped area is pack full of activities for family fun. My summertime go to weekend getaway with the kids where the wade pool is the most common attractions . Pricing for food, paddle boat, family bikes and skating is a little high but you can still find free fishing and picnic space. Love this gem, hope it continues to be a great destination for my family

Contracted strep throat after eating a burger at the restaurant, someone must have spit in my food. Only thing that could have prompted someone to do such a disgusting thing is me ordering my burger "well done". Thanks lakeside, next time we'll bring our own food and drinks.

I visited Lakeside Brooklyn Park on Sunday morning and spent several hours having a walk around. It was a lushly bright and sunny morning, but cold and I had a really nice walk through.Definitely worth it and will return.

It's a really nice place to ice skate. I have been there 3 times and it was never crowded. Place is very family friendly. The food is a bit on the expensive side but it is also very good and more variety than just hotdogs and burgers.
