BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY... Labor Ready is unprofessional. They lie to their employees and DO NOT pay as promised. From an employer's point of view… “they do not provide stable and reliable employees.” From an employee’s point of view… “their pay schedule is unreliable and short changed, again!” It is inevitable that since this company does not know how to take care of their employees, they will not be able to provide lasting trustworthy and productive employees for your business!
Debbie, who manages the payroll office, will confirm your weekly pay amount over the phone but when you receive your “cash envelope”, the amount is not what she had verbally confirmed. She refused to send an email confirmation of promised pay, blaming that the company does not send emails. Her unstable delivery of pay envelopes ranging from late Friday afternoons to Friday evenings past 8pm demonstrates their additional lack of respect for their employees.
This company totally works under the table and should be investigated and audited. I’ve already contacted the Department of Labor and filed a motion to go to court for small claims.
