I love LaStrada - they always have great food and it's a pleasant atmospher. What preplexes me is their attitude. called for reservations for 2 and was told they only do 6 or more. I'm thinkining in today's market where there are 3 or 4 restaurants within the area (walking distance), i'd want to confirm a patrons visit with a table. Oh well, hope they'll have seating when i go otherwise it's across the street for me.

This is my favorite restaurant on Staten Island. The food is delicious and the service is great! Always a great experience. You won't be disappointed.

The service is very good and the food is extraordinary. A jem on Staten Island. I highly suggest you have the lobster fra diavolo and the homemade lasagna.
The atmosphere is cozy. Dress attire is dressy casual. I suggest you arrive before 6pm or you may have to wait for a table. They do not accept reservations on the weekend. Molto bene.

Worst Italian restaurant I have ever experienced. Surly wait and hostess staff. Clams Oreganata were 3/4ths bread crumbs, waiter never cracked a smile the entire time. He unpleasantly told us we had to order our entrees at the same time as the appetizers or he would not take an appetizer order. Nothing special to say the least. We went as a special birthday occasion and when the waiter brought the cake with the candle he was busy looking around the room while he attempted to sing Happy Birthday. Very Very disappointed.

I would like to highly recommend La strada for accomodating our party of 20 that unexpectedly grew to a party of 50 the day of my sisters memorial. The manager swiftly had everyone seated, served dinner and dessert within a 2 hour window! Extremely grateful for the accomodation, great food and great service during the most difficult times in our lives. Thank you La strada you guys really went above and beyond! 5 stars!
