I'm sorry for any inconvenience and misunderstanding you may have experienced at your event at La Rouge .
We hold a very high standard and Customer Service and are committed to our customers satisfaction.
If you have any problems please directed them toward manager, so that we are given a chance to make it right. We have posted a few pictures of your event and you indicated to our staff that you had a great event and your guest really enjoyed themselves. Again, we appreciate your patronage and look forward to serving you and your guests again in the very new future!

The place is a nice lounge to set up and my party guests were pleased with the food. However, this is an absolutely unprofessional establishment where the owner, the manager and the bar staff pilfered money from myself and guests. I rarely provide reviews and if I have an issue, I discuss it with the owner, but after voicing a list of concerns with Benedict Guinier (owner) and Shayala Davis (manager) they continued shady business practices. One of the things that I abhor are when people steal from you and essentially this is what this business did.
To the admittance of staff, our event was one of the best events they had, but after hearing the feedback it was because they made so much money off of guests through bogus charges and lying. Bartenders charged guests for alcohol we paid for and even charged guests for bottled water that we brought because they had no water available. Those are just a few issues. It was an absolutely disgusting experience. Along with my list of issues, we heard so many complaints in the days after, it was such a disappointment and let down that it is pertinent for me to post this review.
Sadly, even when you point out their flaws they go full speed ahead and do it anyway.
- Misleading event packages (We purchased an open bar package which is unlimited drinks, but three days before the event after NUMEROUS inquiries; we discovered that their version of an open bar package was prepaid liquor with a limit of 2 bottles per alcoholic beverage).
- Evasive responses via email or no response at all
- KEEP EVERY RECEIPT they did not have accurate payments on the final itemization
- Kept the liquor we purchased for open bar and gave bottom shelf liquor (For example, we paid for Tito's Vodka and Grey Goose, they told party guests they were serving Smirnoff). Then charged $10 for Grey Goose
- Would report that some wines or spirits were out, but would serve it to someone else later
- Slow bar service to decrease the alcohol being served during "open bar"
- Rude bartenders who did not know how to mix drinks
- Bar charging for drinks we ordered
- Mouse in the bathroom
