Generous portions with very little wait time. La Posada is an excellent and affordable lunch place with a variety of delicious options. The Carne Asada Super Burrito is my favorite, and my girlfriend loves the chorizo and shrimp tacos. It is hard to find mexican food in the city that is not Chipotle, but this place is a glimmer of hope that you can have those large platos you know and love for a great price.

This is a quintessential, run-of-the-mill Tex-Mex restaurant. I ordered for delivery and was pleased that my order arrived quickly. The happiness however ended there. My tacos were soggy and the carne asada was nothing close to any that I have had in Mexico. It was overcooked and tough, the flavor altogether mediocre. As it turns out, medicrity played a significant role in my experience as I bit into my shrimp enchiladas; there was nothing wonderful about them. The rice that "complemented" the enchiladas was very American and again, mediocre. I did not even want to finish my food but the gnawing hunger in my stomach forced me to. Finally I ate my flan (which was the only decent thing I tasted) and was less than excited when it began falling apart. This is a bad restaurant if you are looking for real Mexican cuisine or anything remotely decent. It is, however, dirt cheap. Maybe I should have ordered the burrito.
