La Fusta

There were seven tables in our area of there restaurant only one was being waited on . We spend 15 min no one came to help or asked if we need anything finally the asst. to the waiter went by and I mention to him we were ready another 10 min went by he came with bread and water . At that time I told him how dissatisfied we all were it is my son's b-day and we went to La Fusta to celebrate wrong choice our order was half missing more wait .The check came the pen had no ink.Horrible Experience ,then I realize no one wanted to help us originally when I walk in my Star of David was showing and one of the waiters put both hands in front of him like an ex ( X ) he was the one that was suppose to take our order and did not we had to wait for the next waiter once our waiter started to help us then Mr X helped the people behind us

The food is delicious at this Queens almost gem, but despite the reasonable pricing, hold on to your wallet - if you're a large party like we were they try and scam you adding drinks (in our case 2 pitchers of drinks) and jacking up the bill. Not cool. Our server wasn't too attentive throughout the evening, but then when we paid after correcting the "erroneous" charges, he never offered change, assuming the entire difference was his tip. I've never experienced such arrogance in a server but felt fine asking for change. We tip generously but it's at the customers' discretion, not for the waiter to presume. Bring your appetite, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is nice. But bring your assertive voice and keep on eye on that check!

Yes I can say that I agree with what reviews say about the steaks here. They are by far the best here. I ordered a skirt steak and it was to perfection. The side I had was broccoli and it was flavorful even though it was steamed. Delicious! But their service is not so great. Either they have to hire more staff for weekends or they just favor their regular customers or people that they "seem" dress to have have money. I couldn't get not one waiter to get me a glass of water. I was literally going to go up to the bar and just ask the barista to just give me water because my dad was choking. Luckily I still had some water left. I observed the waiter going to the other tables more than 2x he only came to my table once and that was when he gave us our food. Thanks! Maybe it was today that this happens (sunday) but I just find it pretty strange. I don't know if I'll come back to sit here. I'll probably just order to go. Maybe

This place is so delicious! The plates are huge and everything taste so good. I am going there tonight can't wait to enjoy my dinner again!
