Horrible place customer service is the worst god forbid you are already a member there they will not help you with anything... The weights are all over the place machines are broken for months ...today I tried to cancel my membership and one of the guys behind the membership desks just basically ignored me do not recommend this gym to anyone they will treat you like a human being until you sign up after that they will not help you with anything don't bother you will find out trying to cancel your membership will be one of the hardest things you ever did in your life thanks to the staff

Making a long history short....they tell you all you want to hear at the sign up time. I joined TO HAVE AQUAFIT CLASSES (I WAS PREGNANT ) BUT INSTRUCTOR WAS SO BORED on Tues and Thurs (IVETE is VERY GOOD ON WED) . I was told KIDS CLUB used be cleaned twice a day but ITS NOT TRUE , don't think so . The room is full of dust (MEANING THEY DONT VACCUMING HOW ITS SUPPOST TO BE DONE ) Im talking about accumulated dust from NOT vaccuming at all around big obstacles they have in the room for kids to climb on . I talked to the manager FOR THE SECOND TIME but HE DID TRY GIVING EXCUSES . HE LOOKED LIKE IT WAS NOT IMPORTANT. ...

IM DISAPPOINTED .

I dont recommend this location for those who has baby that still crawls, they will keep their face to close to that dust that I just mentioned.

I just cancelled my membership. When I joined 18 months ago the club seemed well run and clean. Now it's filthy and nobody seems to care. I've contacted the corporate offices and spoken to the club and regional manager about the disgustingly dirty locker rooms particularly on the weekend. What did they tell me? That they do not have any janitorial services between 9 and 4! This is a club with 9000 members and they do not have weekend staff to clean the club! What part of HEALTH CLUB is unclear to them. There are piles of garbage poring out of the garbage cans into he floor and garbage all over the locker rooms.

I have sent photos of the garbage to the corporate office and still they have not hired properly staff to maintain a 9000 member club. Next call is to the healthy department. Stay away!

Joined about a year ago and now a year later....starting to see it not at all what I expected. Used to love this place, coming from PF and a loyal PF gym bunny for about 10 years decided to switch over to LA. In the beginning I loved it, but I'm starting to see PF wasn't so bad... and for 20 dollars cheaper and cleaner!

LA fitness is a pretty dirty gym, no one really wipes down anything, weights and ez bars are all over the gym on the floor, plates everywhere. You can never find anything without searching for at least 5 minutes. But be careful. One time I left weights looking for another set, when I came back someone had stolen my weights I was using, not only once but TWICE!! What low lives...

Machines are definitely frequently broken. I will say a spacious gym, but come on staff? How often to do come around to re-rack weights, why is it no enforced that people need to pick stuff up and in fact.. put them down, IN THE CORRECT SPOT!! Not in some random spot on the floor.

In the market for a new gym. Sorry not so sorry LA step your game up bc its looking pretty weak right now.
