to the management if you guys want to do better with your clientele and improve user experience:
I go to this gym. I sort of like it. However, on multiple occasions I asked management to install - please install damned hooks on outside sauna wall so people can hang their belongings before they enter sauna!!!! I was told in August - there are (hooks) on the way. Today is December 25, and they were not there yesterday!
You have this installed in other gyms, please do install them in this location too.

Bad gym. Poor management. Employees are extremely rude and don't know what is going on. Too packed. Not enough weights. Always smells like marijuana in there. Stay away from this gym.

Very rude manager. First i called to make sure that i can get a guest pass before i come to try the gym out. Then when i came in he said you can get one ONLY if you sign up!!! Whats the point of a $&@$ guest pass if i cant get a guest pass until i pay for membership

I have two reviews: one for serious lifters, one for average folks. Here it goes:
For the AVERAGE GYM-GOER: It's nice, very spacious, clean, modern, new equipment, beautiful locker rooms, friendly staff, etc.
Now, for SERIOUS LIFTERS:
It's decent. But not AS good -as far as equipment and machines available- as the ones in South Plainfield and North Brunswick. Those are the ones I normally go to, but today I tried this one out in Clark since it's closer to me, and I had little time to get to the gym before closing time. Here's the gist:
-DBs only go up to 100. So, if you do DB presses or Kroc rows with higher weights, you're out of luck.
-There's no dips station. I couldn't do weighted dips. Didn't bother looking for the assisted pullups machine to do them there (hate doing weighted dips at an assisted pullups machine)
-It's very nice that they have THREE wide-cable stations. One the downside, there's no narrow-cable stations, except for one in the PT-only area. IMO, a narrow-cable station is crucial...takes the folks interested in only using ONE cable (like for pressdowns) away from the wide-cable stations.
-Only two smith machines. It's preferable they have 3, because these are very popular during rush time (6-8ish PM), but 2 is still better than 1
-Two squat racks and one power rack
-The decline-press hammer strength machine: there's two varieties. Some gyms (like South Plainfield) have both: the "regular" one, and the wider-grip one (which I prefer, and lets you push more weight, and the ROM is more natural). The LA F in Clark doesn't have the latter.
-Several bench press stations, which is good.
-Ab machines: If you're like me and do high-resistance ab crunches on a machine: this gym only has the stupid ones where there's handles above your head. Not the proper ones where your chest presses against a pad.
Overall, very decent, but there are some key things missing.
