Unless you are going here to see your favorite player perform, I would skip this place. I know, it's on everybody's list of clubs to visit because it's historic and what not. But, really, I mean, how real can a Jazz club be that books Kenny G? If you just want to go hear some Jazz, go to numerous other clubs in the Village that are cheaper, easier to get in, and have more respect for the audience.
Service is horrid, drinks are expensive, and worst of all the staff was actually talking during the show. There were times I could not hear the vocals of a legendary Jazz singer because Blue Note staff was ordering a pizza. I wouldn't eat here either.
