La Abundancia

bundance is too big for this restaurant, very little food and service way too lousy. way too expensive.

The service was mediocre at best and they had us waiting for almost an hour for our food. The food itself wasn't even average, just kind of a bland mix which made me sad that I had waited so long for it.

Had me waiting like 15 mins until the cook returned from his break only to discover the food they had served me had been reheated, a poorly attempt to reheat might I add. Cold and tasteless. The staff were very rude as well. Never coming back.

The three experience that I have gone at this place everything is been reheated and teasteless. Never go overnight coz they pretend to give you all the staff they haven't sold. And the service is very poor....!!

Don't go thinking that every 5 star is some place fancy. It's Queens and La Abundancia is the place where everyone goes for a plate of food, pandebono, and coffee. My favorite thing to get is the dulce de leche cake. It's amazing and so cheap. I also buy a bagful of bread and a cup of juice. Once in awhile I buy the empanadas. But La Abundancia has real food... stews with rice and always ready. The place is clean and the ladies who work there are so nice. Bonus points if you are a native Spanish speaker. I just practice my conversation Spanish skills and they always help me out. La Abundancia is directly across the street from the train station. Great place for a break or breakfast before you head off into the city.
