L.I.C. Bicycles

I found this place on my headed over the bridge and noticed it. Went in received excellent service from Carlos. I now live in Brooklyn and I still go to L.I.C Bicycles bc it's sort of like your mechanic once you've found a place you trust you just keep going back.

The staff was very nice and they did a great job for a fair price. Will be coming back for any future repairs or maintenance!

Fixed my tire with charm and ease, answered all my questions, and I got an affordable pair of killer lights. Very helpful/friendly staff.

They are extremely fair with small repairs and don't try to nickel and dime you and drum up the price. I've taken my bike in multiple times to get brakes cleaned and cables changed and they are the cheapest around. Don't be put off by the size of the place or age of the employees - they're very knowledgeable and efficient without being "snooty" about it like other bike stores. They also seem to carry a very well selected limited inventory of parts and accessories so you don't waste time with crappy parts or overpriced name brands. The new bike selection is a bit limited and for that I'd suggest going out to Long Island or up to the Bronx, but for everything else this is a great place.

I purchased my bike from here, and the staff was very friendly and informative. When you purchase a bike from here, they include basic maintenance (adjusting/replacing gear shifter lines, etc).

I hit a bump in the road in my bike and bent the front rim ever so slightly. I took the bike in the next day and they quickly shaped it up for me for free.

Even if you're not in the mood to buy anything, they have a free air compressor near the front door.
