A great all around experience. Very friendly staff, quick service, and great price. My go to mechanic from now on.

I chose L & B auto repair after I came across checking their reviews through Yelp, Google, and Car Talk. With universally positive reviews, I figured it was worth trying out. They didn't disappoint.

I brought my 2010 BMW m3 in to have it looked at after my Check Engine light appeared and disappeared twice. The head mechanic thought it was probably nothing major since it went away on its own but they hooked it up to the computer and it turns out I need a new ignition coil. This diagnosis lined up with some symptoms I hadn't even told them about (some occasional difficulties starting the car and intermittent engine stutters) so I figured I could trust them.

The final price was very reasonable (I priced the part with the uber-sketchy Bay Ridge BMW dealership and the part alone cost what L and B charged me for the part AND labor), and they got it done right away.I even gave them an opening to try to sell me on extra work ("can you make sure all of my fluids are good?") but they simply checked and said I was in good shape. This is in stark contrast to Bay Ridge BMW dealership which just a few months earlier had tried to convince me I need to do full system flush for $350 or risk catastrophe.

I'm definitely coming back to these guys and will recommend them to friends.

Those guys are the best. It is the "go to place" in NY area to have your beloved car taking care off. I use them for more then 10 years. Now I live on NJ but I still go to L & B to all my cars needs. Honest, fast and Friendly. What else can you ask. A+ Always.

Quick service and easy to drop off your car. My car was left with dirty hand marks a few times. It's not somewhere I go for oil changes regularly, but if I want to leave the car and come back later in the day, I go to L&B.
