Not worth dealing with the rude owner.
I found a design I liked on Pinterest & before we started I asked if it was possible. The owner and another worker were confident and directed me to a small Hispanic women.
She was very sweet & did a great manicure. However the design wasn't done well at all. I told her to just forget the design and we'll stick to the manicure.
Note: I had already paid an extra $10 for the design
I go to the owner and ask for a store credit for the $10 difference (not a refund- just a store credit). She looked right past me and shouted at the girl "Where is the design" , I responded it was done poorly so we stuck to the basic mani. Again, ignoring me and talking to the girl "Next time don't clean it off- You leave design!" -
After carrying on a little more about she won't give me a refund, she'll do it when she's done with her current customer (keep in mind I've already been there 1 hour & this is my lunch break). She eventually, reluctantly gave me the $10 store credit which I probably will never use b/c it really isn't worth the hassle. She was exceptionally rude w/o any justification.
UPDATE BONUS:
It's been 3 hours and the paint is already chipping, awesome!

Popped in for a mani pedi and a massage. So glad I did! Ana is excellent. Precise, careful and nice. She gives a great massage. So relaxing. Will definitely stop back in when I'm in the area.

Worst $25 pedicure I've ever had. They tried to upsell to more expensive services multiple times, the woman doing the pedicure basically washed off my feet and painted my nails. I got home and noticed there was paint all over my skin and dirt under my toenails. Might as well of had my husband paint them. Never going back.

Great manicure. Clean, friendly, and felt great. Will come back when in the NY area again.

Nice pedicure, but they charged extra for the razor ($3) and I did not get a massage because I did not want to pay extra for that too (I did not ask how much it was, but "extra" massage seems to mean "any massage"). Then they charged tax (my friend who paid cash did not pay tax, but they charged my card for it), so the normally $25 pedicure cost me $30 before tip, without massage. It was a good pedicure, but not $30 good ($35 with tip), and I felt cheated.
