Not for the hobbyist or casual passerby, to be sure; but if you are a serious artist this place will be like catnip for you. Probably the best, highest-quality pure pigments in America; staff is extraordinarily knowledgeable, if a little stiff.

If you are an art materials nerd who knows what color cobalt stannate is and has strong opinions about the use of traditional sizing, then this place is like your Mecca. Helpful and courteous staff! Possibly the best pan watercolors in the entire world.
