They took the double cut Prime Rib off the menu and the Prime Rib I had was awful, Not the same place, never going back. The only reason why I rated it one star is because they wont let you post without rating or else this place would be starless.

Plain pot roast and ginger snap gravy they try to pass off as sauerbraten. Probably the worst German food I've ever had.

This German restaurant has been here for years. Very good food but service can be slow. Easy parking as parking lot across the street. Right by Long Island RR.

I've been eating here for about 15 years and have found the food to be consistently good. This is a better then average German restaurant with a diverse menu and innovative buffet days. These may include wild game, seafood, etc. Nice old world ambience. If you are looking for "fancy and pretentious" this is not the place fopr you. If you like "good and wholesome" you'll enjoy Koenigs. Service is fine and meals are reasonably priced.
