Kilroy's Sports Bar

Been there a couple of times, but they lost me on the second one. I went to the Super Bowl party there. Try watching the Super Bowl with no sound. Aprarently the amplifier busted b4 the game, ok understandable but they tried to play it off like it just happened at the beginning of the game. When I questioned someone on it they said it went out at 4, way before the the Super Bowl. So they decided not to tell anyone. People were paying $500 for booths, $1000 for a couch. At the least it should have been disclosed not hidden. We left by the end of the first quarter.

Lunch is generally poor at best and was a little expensive since they changed their menu a few months ago. Sandwiches, salads and hamburgers are in the $13 to $16 range. The new menu is with a black background with white letters and is rather difficult to read. I was there today and the place had a bad odor. I am not going back!!! Too many other better places to go to.

This place is terrible especially all the waiters they can't even get an order right and on top of that they sell beer to minors. I saw a whole bunch of kids that went to my sons high school and they just graduated. Horrible place don't ever come here.

I'd like to start by saying that I love Kilroys and I always have a great time there (until now that is). The bartenders are awesome, very outgoing and simply good at what they do. The place overall is enjoyable. They've got a pool table, 100 tvs, jute box, and a fireplace with couches. Recently they updated their menu and the FOOD is PHENOMENAL, not to mention like 50 beers on tap. Anyways, yesterday I stopped in around 4ish and it was the worst experience I've had in a bar. Yes I'm 21, yes I look even younger, and yes I expect to get carded. But an attitude from the bartender because of it? No, that I did not expect. When we sat down my friend had asked her for the happy hour menu and she quickly snapped back and demanded our ids. Not a problem. She checks the ids, tosses them at us and walks away saying nothing. When she came back she asked about the year on the id again and then says you need to show me another form of id. Which is kinda understandable...but not really. It wasn't a genuine concern for my age, her attitude came from a bad place and she simply didn't like me. We asked for the manager so she just pointed at him and said "hes right there go talk to him." Being that he was even younger than her you could tell she had no respect for him either because I didn't even get to tell him they story before she came up behind him and said "it doesn't matter anyway, I'm not serving you so you can leave now." That was enough for me. I calmly picked up my stuff and walked out. That will be a last.

P.s I was only there for food

First off they had to Google how to make an old fashion... 20 min later they still managed to mess up a drink which appears on their menu with all the ingredients clearly written on it. Next drink I ordered from two separate bar tenders one made it horribly the other asked me for the ingredients, once again written on the menu, which was the first drink I had here that was made correctly... I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you're coming for beer and plan to order 20 min in advance and are expecting a cup half full of foam. It's not even busy enough for their to be a wait for a drink, they just like conversing with each other in between making drinks.
