Kids in the Game

Excellent program! Very safe with plenty of activities! My 6 year old daughter is really good at basketball right now thanks to KING! Almost always makes the shot in the basket on a regular height rim! hahaha!

Kids in the game summer camp was a breath of fresh air for my family. The kids from 1st grade and up went on some educational as well as very entertaining trips every week. There were a few incidences that I had to address with other kids playing rough with my child. I wouldve liked for it to be a little more firmly addressed but you cant have everything. What you get is a very entertaining experience for your children. I had two boys there so they were very active. I felt good when I dropped them off. The staff were very friendly and empathetic. I would recommend kids in the game summer camp, inwood to everyone!

I had a wonderful experience with Kids in the Game. My son is 5 years old and tends toward shy with new experiences and people, but the staff put him at ease immediately, and his six weeks were fantastic. Every afternoon I picked up a happy kid bubbling over with news about new games and activities, and he loved all the field trips--even to the museums.

The kids play sports and games outside everyday, and there were indoor activities like arts and crafts, and special activities like tap dance. It was what we wished school could be like. The coaches are very sweet with the kids and made sure their water bottles were always filled up and that they brought them when they went to the park. One thing that really surprised me was how kind and a accommodating the staff were - NYC can be a tough town, but from each interaction, it was clear these guys really seemed to want to make things easy on the families. We signed up our 4-year-old for one week last summer, just to try it out. She loved it so much that thankfully they had room and we promptly signed her up for two more weeks. They had a sign-in and sign-out sheet for drop off and pick-up, and every day ended with a Popsicle. One special thing to note for prospective parents of campers: my kid was wiped out every day... Which was awesome and made an early bedtime a breeze and my summer that much more enjoyable!
