I had a great experience with Doc today. He gave me the hair cut that I've been wanting for months. The last person who tried to cut my hair in this style failed. But he hooked me up. Thanks Doc.

Had a great experience here! I went in for a trim scheduled with Andre. He was very friendly and gave me so many tips to maintain my hair and keep it healthy! He is all around a great person and stylist. I would definitely recommend him. I left with the salon with a nice, blown out healthy looking fro! Check him out!

I once was a devoted customer, traveling from the Hudson Valley to Brooklyn, first at the old address and continuing at the Atlantic Avenue address. However, given the trip I had to make just to get my hair done there, the habitual lateness of my operator got to be too much. How is it that I, coming from the Hudson Valley, was always there in time for my appointment, while my operator was regularly late--consistently a minimum of half hour, but the last time I was there it was 1 1/2 hours. I finally walked out and never went back after waiting nearly two hours--for someone who lived in Brooklyn. I now go to a place in Greenwich Village where I am treated with respect and not like someone who expected to be treated with disrespect.

I have been going to Khamit Kinks for almost 6 years.
I take a bus from Boston to Brooklyn, that is how good the staff is.
Very professional.
I always get compliments when I return home and even on the streets of NYC.
The staff knows what they are doing and the price you get what you pay for and then some.
So glad I found this place...
