Keyport Fishery

I love this place the food is always fresh, hot and good. I come from Hillside, NJ just to eat at Keyport Fishery! You guys are are the Best!!

I've been going here for over 25+ years & it continues through the years to be the best seafood I can find anywhere!! Plus, you can sit by the dock & watch all the boats & small yachts as you eat by the pier. A great atmosphere!

There has never been a time I've eaten here and not gotten the very best seafood available. Bonnie and I eat here very frequently. The very freshest seafood especially the scallops and fresh haddock. The soft shell crab sandwich and the clam chowder are also excellent. Best seafood at the Jersey shore. Folks THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!

Fantastic place! I came here for some fish and chips with (foolishly) very high expectations. I was worried that my expectations might be unrealistic, and that I would leave disappointed. As it turns out this place well exceeded those expectations. This is a no-nonsense establishment! Take-away and cash only. Awesome fresh food, big portions, fair prices, and expedient service (have your initials ready). The biggest surprise, perhaps, was the coleslaw! It's an unassuming, under-stated, meager-looking little side of shredded cabbage, but it can hold its own! It's one of the best I've ever tasted. The coleslaw alone is worth a visit. If you want to enjoy your fish at its freshest you're going to have to eat in your car though. But since there's a large parking lot across the street overlooking the harbor it's not a deal breaker. And you'll be in good company as I saw a number of people doing the same as me. I wish I knew about this place 20 years ago. I will definitely be back as a regular.

Purchase cooked or uncooked fish/seafood, it's all super fresh. Prices are good for the quality and portion size. This is not frozen heavily battered food. Don't however expect to dine in as it is strictly a takeout joint. There are some old picnic tables across the street for seating or you good bring some folding chairs and sit nearer to the waters edge. . ENJOY!!!
