Key Food Supermarket

Beware of seafood SPECIAL, they put a new label to cover the old one with a new "sell by" date that pushes 5 days down. Food poisoning is not worth the few extra bucks you keep in your pocket.

Sadly, the only real option for the area. Over priced and many many many items expired. The store would markedly improve if the manager Tony were not there. His rude and obnoxious personality has been enough to encourage me to walk out and the kids who work the cashier lines openly complain about what a jerk he is.

After being stopped, prior to already paying for my items. I was told to empty out my pockets because I was suspected of stealing. This is total BS as I have been shopping at this location for over 5 years. After being thoroughly humiliated I left and filed a formal complaint with the corporate office. Since my friend going back and asking for an explanation was basically told that people steal from them all the time. So I guess they are justified in stopping brown people in hoodies, because we are all criminals.
So after contacting the corporate office, the owner of this location contacts me and tells me there was an error and that the manager was suppose to stop someone else who was shoplifting, (who incidentally they did not catch) instead of me.
He apologized and I met the store owner the next time he was at the location.
But the manager who stopped me and accused me of stealing, who I have seen basically every time i go shopping there did not apologize for his mistake.
He continues to glare at me whenever I pass, as if I was in the wrong for complaining to corporate about the shabby way that I was treated. I still have to shop there, since this is the only decent supermarket in the area, (RIP Fine Fare). but I do so begrudgingly and with a heavy heart.
It sucks to have to keep spending money at a place because there are no other options....
