Nice people, decent selection, but very standard and looking like it's bit run-down. Clean, though.

Complete with everything you need for your weekly needs. Good beer selection too. 24 hours.

Well equipped but their AC is set so low that it is unbearable to be there more than 10 minutes if not dressed well. Really don't get that.

This is my favorite grocery store. They have everything! Hipster organic fun stuff to basic low cost staples. Even new Japanese items like miso paste and pre cooked udon noodles and all the special flours I need for baking. The are also so friendly! Always a nice experience to shop there.

Not bad for your basic NYC "supermarket". Depends on what you're comparing it with. I agree with the other reviewer who noted that it is much bigger inside than you would expect from the outside. Still pretty cramped if you're used to a "real" supermarket. (I used to regularly shop at a 60,000 sq ft Publix in FL.) Food selection is pretty good and I can generally find what I need. HUGE beer selection plus they fill growlers. It's just around the corner so I'm there frequently. A big plus is it's open 24 hours. High prices but that's totally expected in NYC. Checkout clerks vary between surly and friendly, but usually at least pleasant.
