We signed up for Chinese for Tots class at Key Element. It started off on a bad note when we tried to obtain materials for the class and there was an obvious miscommunication. No one on site seemed to understand what we were asking for or what the proper protocol was for handing out the class materials. It was not until I tracked down the director of Key Element that I was told class materials were handed out at the second class (this communication didn't come until after the 1st class had happened and after multiple attempts to get a hold of the materials).
Classes were a bit rowdy but another teacher came in to help manage the tots. However, in one of the classes when the other adult was unavailable to help manage, one of the children spent almost an entire class period on top of the table, because she could.
Later on, the center changed teachers mid-semester, without notifying parents. We were told, before we signed up, that teachers would not be changed mid-semester. To top it all off, the teacher that was substituted in was not well-trained and didn't know what to do for the activities! She mis-translated simple items (I only know because she also said them in English afterward).
The response by the center director (who never came to a class to observe what was occurring and the site director also never came to observe a class) was not helpful and not once apologetic for sending in a teacher that quite obviously was unprepared for class!
