Reviews to Kessler Rehabilitation Center- Linden
I recently had surgery with Dr. Sinha in the orthopedic group in linden,nj in August. So the doctor recommended to me to get therapy I wanted to go to the closest therapy building to my home. So I decided to go to the one in the same building at Kessler in Linden,NJ. To begin making an appointment with the receptionist on the phone was difficult because the staff was not very accommodating and very rude. But when one of the therapists called me back and apologized and said they would take care of me themselves I decided to try it out. To begin again the ladies in the front were very rude and sarcastic. I had rescheduled my appointment twice due to not feeling well and in front of me decides to make the comment "she should be in the system she's scheduled and rescheduled plenty of times" I was shocked and so embarrassed. Since I needed this therapy that day I decided to stay but immediately decided to call Dr Sinha to let him know about this facility because I cannot imagine that's he's aware of where some of his patients are looking to get therapy in a comfortable place but it's the complete opposite . Fortunate for this facility once you get through the front and hit the back I was fortunate enough to get the manager Monsey (sorry if it's spelled wrong) and he was amazing made me feel comfortable and at home and thanks to him If and when I decide to return it will only be to work with him.

If you care about your rehabilitation DO NOT visit this facility. I apologize if this is not a representation of Kessler in general, but this particular facility is horrible. The PTs spend their time talking and texting. They have 4 or more patients at a time and are unable to provide any individual attention. If your session is an hour expect to spend 2, after you do your reps be prepared to spend time trying to get your PT's attention from gossiping with their coworker or playing on their phone. It's a catty office, In 3 sessions, you will know who gets along, who doesn't, and in the end no progress with your recuperation. I went in for a herniated a disk. I tried to share my MRI reports with the therapists - no one was interested. It was my first time at a PT office and I did not know what to expect but I saw no progress for the 12 sessions I attended. Apalled at my experience, a coworker recommended the Club in Woodbridge. The attention, interest, and professionalism was like night and day. Unfortunately, the disc became too debilitating and I did end up having surgery. For rehabiliation, due to distance I drive to Ivy Rehab in Union, they also are a great office that seem really interested your well being. Billing is another nightmare. Both the Club and Ivy Rehab are transparent in the billing. With Kessler, I was sent around from number to number when I requested an explanation of charges, I eventually ended up with a therapist who herself couldn't explain the charges on the bill were due to. I paid the balance to not deal with the headache and not affect my credit report. But it was purely wasted dollars on horrible service. I urge you to do your research and find an office that will help you in your situation. This is NOT the one.
