Medical care was professional, conducted by experts. I loved it. When ever I tried to pay, I was assured consistently that billing is taken care of at a later stage, and that I'd get a bill in the mail.
Sandy hurricane happened, I neither received bills from them, nor was I even called. They were forgotten, as I had much more to deal with
Recently, I came to realize that they forwarded a $62 to collection. I tried to chase them to pay the bill, called multiple centers. No one would take payments, its in collection. It's like they don't want to get paid!!!
The horror and failure as a company!! I hate their billing and imbecile accounting!!! I would have paid the $62 any day, but ended up with collection on my credit report instead.

They have early morning /late evening hours for those that work banker's hours. Although small, I've never felt like I could not perform my therapy in a timely manner. The therapists are friendly thorough, and the office staff are helpful.

Kessler Rehabilitation center has worked wonders on me! Dana B. listened to my goals, and listened to my history to determine the best workouts to get me back in shape just in time for softball season! She is a pleasure to work with, and the massages given at the end of each session by her are a plus!

I was happy with my care at Kessler Rehab in Hoboken (Dana was great) but extremely disappointed in their billing services. BE AWARE that Kessler bills itself as a "Hospital Visit" because of its contract with a hospital. Due to their hospital affiliation, I had to pay for all of my services out of pocket. Kessler's initial estimate during my first visit after calling my insurance company (Aetna) was that it would be covered completely. My insurance company also assured me that I would be covered for up to 30 physical therapy visits during the calendar year.
I feel intentionally deceived by Kessler. Their fine print read that they were considered a hospital visit, but I have a strong feeling that they presented themselves differently during their first phone call with the insurance company. It was not until after weeks of visits that I received my explanation of benefits and a very large bill from Kessler. Their deceptive tactics have led to me owing a large sum to my insurance company. I would caution anyone looking for Physical Therapy in Hoboken to look elsewhere.
After having a back-and-forth with Kessler on the phone eight times, I was sent to many different places. They gave me reference numbers for a phone call they made to my insurance but the insurance would only speak to the provider. Kessler told me there's nothing they can do, but I feel that I was intentionally deceived and I am certain that I'm not the only person to whom this has happened.

The professionals at Kessler have been a life saver. They have helped me --especially Dana--with my leg neuropathy so that I am able to lead a more full life. They are kind and very human and easy to work with. Thank you to them all.
