I like the place but the gate keepers (an American couple) of the pier just made me sick today. My husband was fishing on the pier, there is a one time visit ticket(one dollar) that can allow visitors to go inside once but not staying there for too long(there is no specific time limit). I bought it and I was taking pictures with my husband along the pier. After half an hour, the gate keeper drove his car to me and demand me to leave immediately. The pier is long, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the end and another 10 minutes to walk back. It is very reasonable that people can stay longer than half an hour if they want to enjoy the view, take some pictures.
Later I came back again and want to visit my husband to get some water. I bought another one time ticket. The man pointed to the clock and shouted to me: "You see that clock?" and his wife said: "You have to be back before 5" meaning I have 25 minutes to stay for one trip. What really made me mad is my husband told me there are several people stayed at the pier for longer than 2 hours for one time trip. I later asked a guy who also purchased a one time visit ticket how long he stayed, he said about one and half hour. So why they are treating people in different ways?
It is funny that the gate keeper said they have everyone's visit written down And they said it was impossible that anyone can stay that long because they kept track of everyone. They didn't ask any information from me, how they are able to put down my information? So they just write down a women wearing red came in at 3:00pm? What if multiple women wearing red? They can never track in this way unless they ask for everyone's ID.
I persuaded my husband to come to the pier today and I highly regretted and I will never visit the pier again if the gate keepers remain the same people.

This is my second time been there, and I don't think I will go there anymore. There are a couple of things that I don't like about this place. 1. The location is bad. There is a big amusement park behind the pier. If you go there on weekends (I can't go fishing during weekdays due to my work schedule), it is very crowed and noisy. Since the pier is on an open beach, many people do water sports such as jet ski there. Fish will get scared away. 2. It is expensive to fish there. You pay $5 for parking, $10 per person. I brought my wife with me. She stayed on the beach and occasionally came to the pier to check me out. Even my wife has no poles and does not fishing, she was asked to pay $10.
The pier is long and decent. But you won't catch many fishes. The pier also closes pretty early at 8 pm. Since there are so many other free fishing spots in the surrounding area, I won't come to this place again.

The worst management.
We went to the pier about 1 pm. $8 per person and $5 for parking. The worker told us that we should back to the parking lot if sound storm came. Windy and cloudy were round 4:30 , We went back to car, left the poles on the pier and baits in the water. (because no any fish bite). Sky got bright after 20 minutes. Storm didn't straight the pier but everybody was kicked out. We went on pier to get our poles back. The worker already took them back but cut our lines. We lost hooks, sinkers. Can't use the line because too short. That cost was over $50. The sign said CLOSED 8 PM
