My wife and I currently live in Florida and traveled specifically to Karishma because we heard good things about this store. My wife bought a custom-made wedding dress at Karishma. The design was absolutely beautiful, and the material they used was quite good. Unfortunately, everything else was not. Somehow they messed up the measurements so that the dress was made too wide and too short.
Because the dress was messed up initially, my wife had to make two trips back to New York to get the dress fixed. The final time, they ended up sewing up a side zipper in a poor attempt to alter the dress. This ended up sewing up the dress in a way so that my wife had to put the dress over her head rather than step into it, as was the original design. We ended up paying someone else in Florida to fix it properly.
We brought these problems up with the owner of the store, Rosie, who promised us a 30% discount on the next dress that we would buy there. When we asked for the discount, it wasn't honored. Needless to say, I was somewhat upset about this.
My final evaluation of this store is that they have the potential to give you a good product, but please please inspect it carefully and hold them to the standards that you would approach any other fine clothing boutique. Needless to say I am going to speak with my other friends about this store and recommend that they go somewhere else.
