I visited Dr. Nia a month ago, so far the visit went smoothly, he ordered a stool test for me in which his staff explained, he didn't even take the time to explain it to me. His staff explained the procedure falsely. A month later I was scheduled to meet with Dr. Nia, i was in the waiting room for about 40 minutes waiting to see the Doctor. I finally see him and he asked me "how my stomach was?" clearly a month ago, the cause was about a Low White Blood cell count, never about my stomach. I became puzzled and i remained patient. Until.the Dr. and his staff didn't get my results from the lab. I worked in the healthcare profession for over 14 years, and the night before, or 2 days before you prepare weekend charts, and you check to see what the patient is coming for such as a followup and you make sure you get the results before the patient is seen NOT DURING THE PATIENT VISIT, which in this case this occurred. His staff and himself were not sympathetic , not apologetic at all. Turns out that the Lab didnt test for a procedure because the office staff did not properly gave instructions correctly, she gave me 2 bottles to fill with stool, and NEVER explained the empty bottle, according to the instructions the empty bottle has a scooper to remove the stool to install into the 2 bottles that needed to be tested with liquid. My results were incomplete. He was very rude. No bedside manners, and I said I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN. I was dissatisfied and he didn't even ask WHY i was dissatisified. As a business owner and healthcare professional you should ask why your patients are disatisfied. All he said is take the test over again like if it was that "easy and breezy" to begin with. I was in the doctors for 2.5 hours. Waste of my morning with incompetent staff that when I asked a question about the scale to the medical asst, another medical asst was rude and barged into my room asked her coworker, oh do you want breakfast , what kind, and totally ignored that I was there, A bunch of teenagers are hired that do not take healthcare seriously. I stormed out of the office, because my PATIENCE as a patient was limited. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this doctor, you will be treated like "a number",. All he was concerned about was seeing his next patient knowing he MESSED UP.
