Just Pups

This place is frightening. My fiancé and I went here to look at puppies a few weeks ago and were absolutely appalled at what we saw. All of the puppies seemed lethargic and just miserable and most of them had this terrible cough. A few of the puppies were barking in their cages (they're puppies they bark) and the kid working there was kicking the cages and screaming at them to "Shut Up". I was so shocked, I couldn't believe it! Then we asked about a particular puppy and the girl working said "I'm not sure what it is but it's $1600, I think its a Wheaten" She didn't know what 'IT' was?? These poor little puppies are scared, cold and just want to be loved and these people were so terrible to them. It made me so upset. I truly can't believe that the way this place operates is legal, its cruelty to animals and it made me sick. I have written letters to the Animal Protection League of NJ and also to the NJ Animal Rights Alliance regarding this jail for puppies.

This place was a disgusting mess. And the rude little yentas that work there should be arrested with the way they treat the puppies. These just lil pups should be taken away to a safe haven. Maybe we should all buy from here just to save these lil guys...

I liked how the puppies were nice and they were friendly and for my experience the puppies seem happy there their nails was cut and everything was nice and the dogs were amazing.

This store should be ashamed of themselves. When I was browsing for a new dog, I walked into this store not knowing what to expect. The staff acted very immature(rolling eyes, lazy, rude). The place is extremely unsanitary and not a healthy place for young puppies to be living in. I feel extremely sorry for the puppies. They look like they have not been washed, nails are EXTREMELY long, and they don't look very happy either. It was clear to me that I should not give this place the benefit of making money. This place needs to learn how to take care of the dogs, the customers, and their image. As I read the other reviews, it does not surprise me that I am the only one that feels this way. I am shocked that this place is still in business from everything that is out in the public for people to see about Just Pups. Just Pups is not a place you should be buying your first pet, I will tell you that. I have heard from a friend that a friend of hers had a horrible experience with this store this past holiday season. It is extremely sad how the owner does not take these reviews into consideration to improve his/her business. To Just Pups, take these reviews into consideration when you are running a business that should be about loving a puppy. I will tell my friends and family when they are in search of a pet to never take Just Pups into consideration. Adopt people!! I wish I could save all of those puppies/dogs in that store, they do not deserve to be in that place. To people who are looking for a new pet, please read the reviews carefully and make a wise choice.

Horrible! Staff is rude. They treat the dogs horrible. Very unprofessional. I prefer other pet stores because if aren't 21 you can't buy a dog because you can't pet the poor things that just want to be shown love and compassion endless your 21. The whole place smells and is dirty. The dogs are in horrible positions. They need new staff members! They are far from welcoming. I won't be here again.
