I went in June for a magic straight hair perm. It's not a fancy, sleek salon; it's fully equipped but didn't feel like a high-end salon. That's fine with me because I got the best perm of my life! I've gotten this same treatment maybe 5 times or more, often at different salons. Julie Duty did the best. I picked the salon just because it was close to home but I am very happy.
My hair is sleek and straight but also have some attractive, natural looking volume and shape (rather than being flat and pin straight). I have some damage in my hair from dying but it wasn't a problem. It has now been 4 months and I still admire my perm in the mirror.
