I had a great experience with Joseph! I have dealt with back pain on and off for years. When a recent sciatica attack happened I made an appointment with Joseph for acupuncture treatment. Treatment helped me manage the sciatica and it never blossomed into a full blown attack. What a relief. For those who have used acupuncture in the past, you know what I mean. For those who haven't, it works! Joseph is a talented and sensitive clinician. I can't say enough positive things about him. He has wonderful technique and his encouraging attitude puts you immediately at ease. The office is clean and professional. 5 stars! Thank you Joseph for all your help.

I have been going to JS Wellness for around 6 months now and I LOVE IT!!! I have had back and neck pain for 16+ years, and have been to several chiropractors in the past who either hurt me, or left me feeling let down. Since I have started acupuncture at JS Wellness, I experience far less pain on a daily basis and am able to do more physically.

A few months ago I hurt my neck and became "stuck" with my head tilted to the right, unable to move my head out of this position and in EXTREME pain. This is something that has happened to me a few times in years past. When it has happened in the past, I have sought treatment from whoever my chiropractor was at the time, and would spend months (up to 4) going 2-3 times per week for chiropractic care and physical therapy. This time, I went straight to Joseph. After my first session, I felt a noticeable relief, although I still did not have my range of motion back, at least some of the pain subsided. He gave me some advice about what to do at home over the next week. After my second session with him, I really felt better, but still not 100% (1 week after 1st session). By the third session the following week, I was almost back to normal! This might sound like a long process, but in three weeks (1 session a week), he did what my chiropractor and PT combined couldn't do in 3 months going 2-3 times per week! To me it was like MAGIC and I am so very grateful for that!!

It's not just about the acupuncture either. Joseph listens to you and works hard to make sure that your needs are met. He is very knowledgeable about his practice, and takes the time to recommend and demonstrate stretches and exercises to do at home. He has given me dietary advice, shown me yoga moves, and recommended books on meditation to help me relax as well.

Joseph Tonzola makes you feel as though he genuinely cares about you. I also referred my friends daughter to him and she loves it too!

Joseph is fantastic. I saw him for a little over a year for acupuncture and could not have been happier. He helped me reduce back pain from an injury and some other ongoing medical issues significantly. Very attentive, easy to schedule with and really knows his stuff. One of my greatest disappointments moving out of state was having to leave his practice.

I had an injury to my thoracic nerve sometime last year, I believe and my Zumba instructor recommended I should visit Joseph. I'm so glad that I did! My injury deterred me from doing not only what I love to do which is dancing Zumba but it also affected me in my daily activities; making it difficult to sit for long periods of times, and driving was very uncomfortable, among other things etc. Joseph is very thorough and full of knowledge. He provides not only reading material but also has wonderful natural products that cater to one special needs. He assesses all situations and not only treated me for my injury but also other issues that I have. I'm now doing great and living pain free and back at Zumba! Yayyy.... plus I continue to see Joseph just for overall pain management because we all lead such hectic lives and always seem to forget about taking care of ourselves in general. This is a great way to manage stress and pain throughout the week and that's important to me. Joseph is accurate with his appointments and very polite which makes acupuncture more of an enjoyable process specially in my case where I was petrified of needles and now look forward to my sessions. I recommend Joseph 100%

Joseph is a very thorough and patient practitioner. Appointments never feel rushed, so I always leave feeling relaxed and listened to. I have been going for back pain and am very happy with the improvement and pain relief Joseph has helped me achieve. I'm so happy to have found a skillful acupuncturist in the area!
