I really enjoyed this gem in Brooklyn! Loved the Pad Thai and they have some good white wine. Do NOT sit by the front! It looks cozy but in the winter there is a mean draft. They have outdoor seating in the summer.
Great portions!

The Diva host is back with his nasty attitude. If he blinked one more time he would've lost some eyelashes or the hair he kept trying to whip (courtesy of my mother). Got there at 5pm waiting like civilized people to be seated. Another group was behind us. Then a pair of people walk in and are seated. We approach the host who was like well I didn't know you wanted to be seated. No I'm standing in the restaurant for fun. He proceeds to be rude and nasty flipping his blonde streaked hair "well how can I help you then?" Mother: You can do your job and seat me without all the attitude and you can also seat people in the order they arrive. Host: "Well you should've just come up here". Mother: where's your manager. Host: "I'm not calling him". So she asks another staff member where the manger is. He says "he arrives at 6". Well it's 5:30 and We are waiting for the manager. Will give an update. Did I mention no one offered any beverage? We have been here before but never encountered the diva. Needless to say after this we won't be returning. I can't deal. 5:48 placed order for 2, my mom refuses to order because she is waiting to complain; 5:51 order is cancelled. We are going to Lemongrass Grill up the block: buy one get one free cocktails!!!! Good Riddance Joya.

The best Thai food around!!! Been coming here since Joya opened. I moved out of state and I still come to Joya everytime I am in NY. Kid friendly and tasteful food at an affordable price. I may have eaten here 100 times at the very least.

Reasonably priced neighborhood thai joint. The music and noise level can get quite high, so we generally get take out or delivery. Noodle dishes and curries are all above average, but nothing outside of the 'ordinary' dishes you find at similar places.

The tom ka was very flavorful but needed more spice same with the panang curry both tasted great just make sure to ask for the chili caddy to add your own flakes then it was perfect! Decent prices too it was good portions for under ten bucks.
