This store is almost a scam. My boyfriend lives in Soho and we bought two carpets. Both priced very high, but they made it sound like a good deal. I don't know what laborers they use (all carpets are from Nepal) but they are definitely exploited based on the mark-up. One of the staff told me ("in confidence") that the carpets are sold at 20-25 times what they are purchased for by "the owner who visits Nepal frequently", she added.
Staff are friendly, especially the two people who helped us. But the carpets are average quality, and when we checked with other dealers, we realized how much we had overpaid and what we could have gotten for the same money elsewhere, even ABC Carpets.
I will never shop here again or recommend the store to anyone. My heart goes out to the cheap laborers slaving away in Nepal-they probably think they are making a fortune (maybe they are by Nepal standards) but this store is a poor venue to buy carpets for your home or office. Take your money elsewhere.
