Mr. Noto was my lawyer for my Collaborative Divorce. In a Collaborative Divorce the spouses, instead of the lawyers, negotiate the terms of the split. Mr Noto acted as my partner in this endeavor. From the beginning, he made sure I understood every detail and how it could work for, or against me. While a lawyer doesn't negotiate for you in Collaborative Divorce proceedings, (in fact both lawyers agree to work for the benefit of both parties) I always felt he was 100% in my corner and helped me make the best 'deal' for myself possible.
A Collaborative Divorce attorney is very much like a knowledgable coach, making sure that all important aspects of the separation are discussed and worked out to everyone's satisfaction. This is often not an easy position to be in but Mr Noto did it with sensitivity and at the same time, a strong commitment to my success. He was my cheerleader when things got difficult & a shoulder when it was emotionally challenging.
While I don't expect to marry again, if I divorced again Mr Noto would be representing me again. I doubt there are any lawyers in NJ who are as knowledgable and familiar with the Collaborative process.
