My parents used to go here when I was little. It was a surprise stop for my first New York visit. We stopped by for tea.
Hostess was rude. Waitress was rude until we asked her to take photos of us and then she was super nice and attentive.
$21 plus tip for two pots of tea and 3 butter cookies. Insane.
Atmosphere was amazing. Gorgeous. Old world.
I will go back and try again, but for full-service afternoon tea, lunch or dinner. The menu looked spectacular.
