Best steaks and chops around!!! The cowboy steak and veal chops are awesomely delicious!!! Wifey loves the filet mignon and junior loves their cheeseburgers!!! The entire Johnston family makes us feel like family, this is why we try and get there every couple of weeks!!!

Great steaks and burgers!!! Tuesday night car cruise is always a lot of fun! Great friendly atmosphere.

How does this place stay in business?

Johnston's is a lunchtime favorite for one of my business associates who has an office in the area. The staff is great (except for a big blonde woman who never smiles and "bumps" you when you pass by her between tables without apologizing or excusing herself). Otherwise, the food is wonderful. A lot of these places have one or two specialties that you stick to every time you go there, but at Johnston's, I like to experiment with the menu and order something new every time. And every time, I am always pleasantly surprised!

This is an old school steakhouse. I liked it a lot, but is not for everyone. They generally begin the meals with a large iceberg lettuce salad and your choice of dressing. The main meal is usually some form of steak with a vegetable and a choice of potato. The average age of the clientele is probably about 60. You are not going to find trendy Asian Fusion or anything like that here. However, if you are hungry and don't mind eating large quantities of beef and fried foods, this place is very good. The homemade bread was excellent. The servings were large. You will not leave hungry. My french fries were excellent and my steak was good.
