John F. Kennedy International Airport

BEST AIRPORT EVER IN NYC! I love the interior and exterior! Many airplanes could be seen from Terminals Before and After TSA Scanning. IDK about the TSA, but maybe they are nice, mean, or kind of. But I love the transportation there and the airport. We travel a lot from that airport to get to Quito.

Terminal 4 (Delta) and Terminal 5 (JetBlue) are the best ones in my opinion. The rest are old and don't have many good food options.

Public transportation to JFK is a pain, although they have the Airtrain, you have to connect to another subway line to get into the city. I prefer it over Newark, but not by much.

TSA Pre-check lines have become a joke here lately because they will let anyone with priority through, so security lines are always hit or miss.

So, my flight got delayed 2 hours from JAX and it resulted in missing my international connection. I approached JetBlue airways for help, there was nothing. Requested for hotel help, got declined because it was not reachable request.
I called customer support, they wanted to speak with on duty staff, they refused to talk to their own company. I had Customer Service call them directly, they did not take the call ( I was standing and watched phone ring and ring). Got run around from 11 to 3am in freezing cold.
Customer support stayed with me on the phone for 1:06minutes to try to get me situated. I will not fly again!!

While aging, JFK continues to be one of the best airports on the East coast. If you look up your gate and prep your boarding pass before hand you should have no trouble making it to your flight on time. TSA was nice and amicable. Once through, there are a plethora of shops and vendors selling a wide variety of food. You shouldn't have a problem finding something you like. The quality of your flight may differ, but as a terminal JFK is pretty good.

One star removed because WiFi is not free.

Strange to "love" an airport, but they got me through customs as fast as possible by giving me and my fiance basically a fast pass. Right as we departed the plane there was an employee with brightly colored envelopes for those with quick connections like us. He asked our names and then gave us our new tickets with the fast pass. We would have definitely missed our flight without this system in place. It was very easy and stress-relieving as that situation can be. I greatly appreciated it.
