This used to be one of my favorites but I went there last night and noticed a drastic change. It appears that their sauce is different from what I remember. The result of this is the pizza has become bland and quiet generic. Sadly the change has not affected the price which is way too expensive for what it is. On top of the disappointing pizza the service was non existent maybe everyone was too busy waiting on the Impractical Joker who was dining there. The only saving grace is the appetizers which were great but it's hard to mess up fried wing dings and things.

This vodka slice blew my mind and taste buds away. I'm still looking for them.
I did not get a chance to go inside Joe and Pat's or taste anything else except for this holy slice, but I am so impressed by the quality that I will give it the 5-stars it so rightfully deserves. Without a doubt, this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in Staten Island and possibly in my entire life. The thin crust will make those familiar with authentic Italian-style pizza happy, and the light vodka sauce mozz combo will sell the rest. Slices are the correct size and I could probably eat a whole pie by myself.
As with all places I give 5-stars, I need to return again in a few months to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. I should probably also be a bit more judgmental about seeing the inside or even looking at the menu, but whatever. Eat the pizza. It will melt your face.

Best Pizza in Staten Island. I highly suggest the Vodka Pie. You should pair it with the Arugula salad make sure you ask for the Balsamic Reduction.

Pros: * Excellent Italian dishes and pizza, totally love it.
* Italian atmosphere.
* I have noticed waitress's attitude have changed for better to improve customer service. Hat's off to the management for educating employees on customer service.
Cons: * Bit expensive, but they have their own signature tomato sauce and unique specialties.
* Parking is an issue but manageable :)

This is my go-to place for hand drawn or shaved noodles in Philly if I have cash around. I would say while this is comparable to Spice C (another noodle place), the broth here is generally lighter and more comforting, which is great for a pick-me-up. I like getting the cold beef tendons or pig ears to go along with it since it's refreshing. The broth is hot, the service is great, the place is big. I've never really had to wait for a table for that long even during peak time. Overall, I would say this is a must-go for noodle places in Philly.
