The JCC has an indoor & outdoor pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and of course a fitness center. It also has 2 basketball courts. During the summer it is really nice sitting in the back near the outdoor pool. You would never know you are in Staten Island. It's like you are going to a beach club.

The indoor pool is very nice. Right now the indoor pool is closed for maintenance, which I understand they do once a year around this time. :( The locker rooms and showers are kept very nice most of the time. This past weekend the mens showers and the family changing room was closed. I was not happy about this. The members were never told this was going on.

Yes the JCC has two basketball courts which are suppose to be opened for paying members. But a lot of times the basketball court is not available because the JCC is renting it out. :(

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They always make the members feel welcome when they are in the building.

The Staten Island JCC is a great community center for Jewish and even non-Jewish neighborhoods, providing youth, teen, and adult programs, as well as financial aid. The staff are generally kind and caring, and make you feel at home.
