God said his name. EXODUS 3 :15,16 "Then God said once more to Moses:

Jehovah (/dʒɨˈhoʊvə/ jə-hoh-və) is a Latinization of the Hebrew יְהֹוָה, one vocalization of the Tetragrammaton יהוה (YHWH), the proper name of the God of Israel in the Hebrew Bible.

The consensus among scholars is that the historical vocalization of the Tetragrammaton at the time of the redaction of the Torah (6th century BCE) is most likely Yahweh. The historical vocalization was lost because in Second Temple Judaism, during the 3rd to 2nd centuries BCE, the pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton came to be avoided, being substituted with Adonai ("my Lord"). The Hebrew vowel points of Adonai were added to the Tetragrammaton by the Masoretes, and the resulting form was transliterated around the 12th century as Yehowah.[1] The derived forms Iehouah and Jehovah first appeared in the 16th century.

"Jehovah" was popularized in the English-speaking world by William Tyndale and other pioneer English Protestant translations such as the Geneva Bible and the King James Version.[2] It is still used in some translations, such as the New World Translation and Young's Literal Translation, but it is does not appear in most mainstream English translations, as the terms "Lord" or "LORD": used instead, generally indicating that the corresponding Hebrew is Yahweh or YHWH.

(NKJV John 1:1) - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD.

Two types of Text: Alexandrian and Byzantine Text

Alexandrian text is the oldest manuscripts available, dating from the second and third centuries. These Manuscripts were found in Alexandria, Egypt (Hence the name Alexandrian Text). The main translations are The ESV, NSAB, NIV, and apparently the New World Translation (Jehovah Witness Translation)

Byzantine Text is a little newer than the Alexandrian text by one or two centuries. These manuscripts were found in Byzantium, Greece (Hence the name Byzantine Test). The main translations are the KJV and NKJV

All the translations here are direct translations, and not a type of paraphrase translation, such as the NLT

We could look at all of the translations, translated by various biblical scholars, and the only translation that changes the meaning of the verse is the New World Translation.

This shows us that Fredrick W. Franz (translator of the NWT), Changed the meaning of the verse to make Jehovah seem like God or a God

John 3:16 says (NKJV) - For God so loved the word, that he gave his only begotton son that whoever shall believe in him shall not parish, but have everlasting life.

Look to Jesus as the Son of God, The trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. There is only one God, And everything points to God in the bible, not Jehovah being God
