Building has undergone a complete renovation. Elevators, lobby, and each individual floor. No longer looks like it was built in the 80s. Upgraded lighting, carpeting, and laundry facilities. Tremendous improvement. Still a great location.
Dave's Auto is no longer across the street. Building was sold, demo'd, and a new, 7 story condo is going up, making the block much less industrial feeling. A modern parking garage is also set to go up next to the former auto body shop.

Good location, but not a nice building. The interior hallways look terrible. The gym is poorly maintained. Most apartments have a mouse problem. It's apparently bad enough that the building pays for monthly exterminator service. There is a signup sheet in the lobby at all times. The board had the bright idea to replace both elevators (which worked fine). The project has taken about 6 months and still isn't finished. During the course of the replacement there were parts and giant rolls of cable stored all over the hallways on several floors. Why the money wasn't invested in upgrading other aspects of the dreadful interior I have no idea. Look elsewhere for a better place to live.
