Do not go to this doctor he is horrible he's a pervert dirty Money hungry and left me at my last week of pregnancy told me he can't see me no more and I'm high-risk he did not want my Insurance he wanted $5000 to see me at the end of my pregnancy he would scream and yell at me and belittle his patients was not concerned about my pregnancy or nor myself so if you do not want to bad experience please listen to my review and do not go you will have the worst experience possible he's a racist and disgusting whoever wrote a good review on him must clearly be on high medication please listed and don't go

Dr Halper is a different doctor than I ever had. He's very caring but is off topic a lot.. I recommend him because he delivered my other baby and the c section was real smooth unlike some of my friends who had some issues with other doctors. I go to his other office in flatlands but I go to this offfice for my sono grams sometimes.

Everyone has a doctor that suits them. My friend had him and she just didn't like how he handles things but she never said he was a bad doctor. Another of my friends had him and so did her mother and they love him. I have him now and he is great. He made his cell phone available to all of his pregnant patients. Yes, there have been emergencies where he had to go to the hospital (to deliver a baby!) but the office calls and lets you know when you can reschedule to. I have a situation where I have to get a shot every week on the same day and at some point he came back after hours to take the patients for that day granted I was the only one to come back but he made himself available. He even had his wife come in to help the front desk when they were short handed. He is nonchalant and he is not overly emotional which I personally find comforting. Then again I believe he is overly cautious and will explore every possible scenario and send patients to consults, he even almost scolded me for not telling him I had spotted a little.
If you don't like a doctor you can always switch, you have a personal responsibility to yourself and your unborn child to get care. I'm sorry another user lost their pregnancy but if a doctor is unavailable and you have a condition then it is also your own neglect that you have to take into account. Why did you not seek care anywhere else? New York has plenty of doctors. The other review makes no sense and sounds like its about a completely different doctor. I am high risk and now in my third trimester, together with Dr. Halper I have so far managed to keep my pregnancy and my unborn safe. Wonderful doctor although maybe not everyone's cup of tea.

worst doctor in the world...only cares about the money...more work than he can handle without Evan an assistant to pay any attention to you or the baby..canceled my appointment 4 times in a row because of emergencies...a month and a half worth of time. had a condition called Thermophilic which caused the placenta to rupture and have a miscarriage, which could have been easily avoided by taking blood thinners..i hope your kids go through the same pain and emotional distress that i can never get over... i will be seeking a lawsuit for negligence.
