James Vincent Bicycles

I came to this shop because Grove St Bikes was closed and I'm so happy they were. I've been seriously biking for nearly a decade and I've never had better service at any bike shop in Manhattan, Brooklyn or JC. Armando is so knowledgeable about bikes and affable in general, I went in hoping the job wouldn't take more than a 30 mins and I think my friend and I wound up sticking around for atleast an hour just talking bikes and laughing at his impressive old Cuban man impressions (he's allowed he's cuban :)). My bike was fixed perfectly and I got the best new seat (unexpectably) that is a game changer in my biking comfort and speed. I couldn't recommend this place any higher, I just hope they open a location in McGinley Sq, preferrably in the store that's up for rent one block south from Montgomery on Bergen Ave. ;)!

Very knowledgeable staff and great selection of bikes. I'm not an avid bike person, and they really took the time to answer all of my many questions, go through different possibilities and did not pressure me to make a decision quickly. With their help, I think I got the perfect bike for my husband for a Xmas present.

I was walking my dog this passed weekend when I came across this bike shop. What caught my attention was a Specialized Fatboy SE. I haven't seen a fatbike in person and was curious to check it out. I was greeted by the store manager Armando. He was real friendly and was nice enough to to let me bring my dog into the store.
The shop is nice and has a lot of bikes and accessories. Armando was very knowledgeable and helpful. He also let me take several bikes out to test ride. Last time I rode a bike was at least 10 years ago. I didn't plan on staying long but the atmosphere there is so chill I felt like I was hanging out with friends. A 5 minute detour ended up being two hours. They treat you like family. But I have to say because of that I'm now looking to buy a bike from them.

I went to this bike shop because it was recommended to me by a family member. To my surprise I was greeted by Armando. That gave me excellent customer service and answered all my many questions. I really didn't have any knowledge on bicycles. He had the patience to explain to me everything that my bike required to make it work smoothly. I recommend this shop because there are very friendly and you feel like family here.
