Terrible faculty that handle attacks on students. My son is a freshman, another student randomly asked him if he was looking at him. My son said no, then the kid just started punching him over and over. My son was able to pin him down, but the student got out, got on top of my son again and started punching him continuously, until my son kicked him off of him. It took security forever to get the child off of my son. They said that even though my son did not throw a punch, he held the kid down and kicked him off. So its considered contact as well. He is currently getting the same detention time as the child who attacked my son. My son has a busted bottom and top lip, scratches on his neck and lower face. The assistant principle on the third floor is an idiot with an ego bigger than his short body. Told me my sons situation wa snot a big deal and instead of explaining to me why they chose to punish my son as well, he told me to read the school policy..... I had to go to the polic and file a report on the kid. The school has done nothing, I emailed them 3 times, still no response..... The teachers are pretty good, they get back to you very quickly through email. For the most part will answer all your questions...... As for the faculty who handle fights/ attacks THEY ARE TERRIBLE . Someone should fire the assistant principle and the safety staff. Currently making a public school complaint...... If my son did not have such a hard time in new places I would have transferred him. They do not handle bullying. SO if your chilled is targeted good luck. They will get the same punishment.
